Dan Renick

A well-known executive in the life sciences industry, Dan Renick has more than 28 years of healthcare experience. He provides visionary leadership to life sciences innovators with highly effective, strategic, and pragmatic solutions to commercialization challenges. As CEO of Petauri Health, he is applying this experience in partnership with clients to ensure that scientific breakthroughs reach patients with unmet medical needs through Petauri's data-driven, digital-forward expert solutions.
Prior to forming Petauri Health in partnership with Oak Hill Capital Partners, Dan was a founding executive and President of Precision Value & Health following their acquisition of Hobart Group Holdings in 2013. Under Dan’s leadership, Precision Value & Health experienced outsized organic growth, completed numerous strategic acquisitions, and received multiple industry awards and accolades.
At Humana, Inc., Dan served as Director of Corporate Pharmacy Management. In this role, he was responsible for pharmacy programs and trade relations, including oversight of contracting with pharmaceutical companies and pharmacy provider organizations. Dan also held the position of National Director of Pharmacy Networks, partnering with pharmacy channel stakeholders to improve access and quality in a cost-efficient manner. Earlier in his career, Dan was a Corporate Account Executive at Merck, working with large employers, business coalitions, and benefits consultants to facilitate rational, evidence-based healthcare decisions.
Dan has consistently been recognized as an industry leader, including: Top 10 Innovation Catalyst by Medical Marketing and Media (MM&M); PM360 ELITE Transformational Leader award winner, which recognizes 100 of the most influential people in the healthcare industry; strategic industry leader recognition by American Healthcare Leader; and featured by Pharmaceutical Commerce, among others.
Dan received a pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky and a BS in chemistry and biology from Western Kentucky University.
Daniel Vanderpoel

A highly regarded market access and pharmaceutical services leader, Dan has demonstrated an exceptional talent for identifying and addressing market access obstacles, crucial for ensuring optimal patient access to healthcare innovations and medical advances. With over 20 years of vast and diverse market access experience, Dan has honed his expertise through a variety of leadership roles at various payer and pharmaceutical services organizations. At Humana, Dan served on the company's Formulary Strategy Team and P&T Committee, with sole responsibility for negotiation, implementation, and management of all Medicare rebate agreements. Dan made the transition to pharmaceutical service providers at The Hobart Group, in 2012. Most recently, Dan served as SVP, Managing Director at Precision Value & Health, where he navigated the complexities of value and access, on behalf of hundreds of clients, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.
Dan received his PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a postdoctoral residency in managed care pharmacy, a fellowship in pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research, and a graduate certificate in epidemiology from the University of Louisville School of Public Health & Information Sciences.
John Zimmerman

In addition to his leadership role at Petauri Health, John Zimmerman is also a Partner at Oak Hill Capital, where he is responsible for Portfolio Company operations, and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to partnering with Oak Hill as a Senior Advisor in 2015, John served as the CFO and a Board Director of Tomkins plc, a global engineering and manufacturing group and parent company of the Gates Corporation, the leading global manufacturer of power transmission belts and a global manufacturer of fluid power products. John has more than 20 years of experience in senior operating or finance roles within Tomkins plc and its subsidiaries. He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and earned a BCom degree from the University of Cape Town.

A highly-regarded market access leader and growth catalyst, Mridul has a passion for growing teams, service lines, and enterprises from the ground up. With over 13 years of business-development experience and an exceptional track record of building companies, Mridul brings progressive leadership skills in talent identification, acquisition, development, and retention.
As Petauri’s Chief Strategic Officer (CSO) and Global Head: Evidence, Value, and Access (EVA), Mridul’s priorities are to develop strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities, leveraging his deep relationships in the market access space, while establishing Petauri’s global EVA group as a partner to clients across the company’s service offerings.
Mridul reports to Petauri CEO, Dan Renick. They previously worked together at Precision Value & Health to address clients’ value and access business objectives where Mridul built a world-class pricing and market access consultancy from the ground up, leading the first phase of organic growth through double-digit revenue year-over-year.
Just prior to joining Petauri Health, Mridul was Managing Partner at Clarivate, leading a global team of over 200 consultants specializing in commercial strategy, pricing and market access, and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Prior to his time at Precision, Mridul developed a novel service offering at Quintiles, which had the fastest revenue trajectory of all of the company’s offerings, and, at ICON/PriceSpective, built the company’s second largest standalone office.

Nearly 25 years ago, Sarah alongside partner, John Strapp, founded, nurtured, and grew The Kinetix Group (TKG) into a leading healthcare marketing agency and strategic consultancy. Today, as president of TKG, Powered by Petauri, Sarah oversees client management and operations, designing actionable solutions in the areas of market access, organized customers, and real-world evidence. Sarah firmly believes that the most impactful solutions are rooted in the voice of the customer. To this end, under Sarah’ leadership, TKG has developed a powerful and diverse network of experts spanning various therapeutic areas, as well as access and care pathway decision-makers and influencers.

Steve O'Malley is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience providing strategic guidance to biotech and pharmaceutical clients to help them navigate complex market dynamics. He has successfully led numerous notable product launches by consistently demonstrating the inherent value of innovative therapies. He is also known for his ability to build highly skilled and motivated teams to tackle the challenges of market access and distribution and develop effective solutions to drive success in the ever-evolving field of life sciences.
As President of Petauri Advisors, Steve's priorities are to build a world-class practice of industry veterans to help clients demonstrate the value of their technologies in a dynamic and constantly changing landscape. To accomplish these objectives, Steve will leverage extensive and deep industry relationships. Additionally, he will introduce cross-functional resources including health economics, medical affairs, and data and analytics, to provide a comprehensive and cohesive range of services to clients.
Steve enjoys working in the start-up environment. Over the past three decades, he has successfully established multiple market access teams from the ground up within the worlds of pharma and consulting. Steve feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow his market access expertise at Amylin and Vertex, becoming the head of market access, successively, at both companies. His tenure at Amylin and Vertex included significant launches within HCV and Diabetes, respectively. Steve leveraged the skills gained in those roles to form the Payer Engagement team at PriceSpective which was acquired by ICON. In 2015, he became President of MKO Global Partners with two other industry veterans.
Tiffany Shaw

With over 20 years of diverse healthcare experience in management, operations, marketing, and sales, Tiffany has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and subject-matter expertise in medical communications strategy and execution. Since joining FORCE Communications in 2014, Tiffany has driven initiatives resulting in improved team performance, while enhancing and expanding service offerings. She has also led the retooling of client-related business operations in order to foster greater diversification of the agency’s book of business as well as enhanced consistency, scalability, and growth. As COO and leader of the FORCE business unit of Petauri, Tiffany directs customer-facing strategic and operational teams.
Tiffany’s previous roles include leading a commercial team in the healthcare sector and overseeing medical consulting, marketing, sales operations, healthcare provider (HCP) customer relations, and payer affairs. Prior to that, she gained valuable agency-side experience in market preparation, environmental shaping, and refining services to support launch excellence. Tiffany’s extensive knowledge in integrated marketing and communications is further evidenced by her recent role as an associate faculty member at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, where she taught integrated marketing communications for 4 years, and where she earned her undergraduate and MBA degrees.

David Niziol
Managing Director, Mtech Access
David has over 27 years of experience helping pharmaceutical and MedTech manufacturers communicate value and gain market access to new and existing technologies. Originally pursuing a career in computer science, David transitioned into the life-sciences sector in the mid-90s, joining a health economics start-up where he enjoyed a 20-year career building and leading the digital payer communication arm of what became one of the largest independent market access consultancies in the UK, Abacus International.
After the sale of Abacus over 8 years ago, David, in collaboration with his schoolmates Andrew Spencer and Anthony Bentley, founded Mtech Access. Created out of the desire to create a ‘people first’ business, Mtech Access is focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for employees, clients, and patients. This people-centric approach has been the driving force behind the thriving team at Mtech Access, contributing to their success in delivering evidence-generation, value-demonstration, and customer-communication services.
Today, as Managing Director of Mtech Access, Powered by Petauri™, David oversees people and culture, finance, operations, commercial, consulting services, and corporate strategy, leading the management team and company to achieve their goals and objectives.
David has a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology from The Open University.
LAUREN GONZALEZ, SHRM

Lauren is a driven human resources leader with more than 15 years’ experience in HR, talent acquisition, operations, and payroll. Intrinsically motivated with a passion for helping people and businesses thrive, she will lead the development and execution of Petauri’s people strategy with a people-first mindset.
Starting her career at a professional employer organization supporting thousands of employees working for various companies across multiple verticals, Lauren’s experience spans industries from healthcare to telecommunications to Broadway and beyond. She has supported employees across the country as well as outside of the United States, and her experience in leading and engaging remote workforces, human capital management and benefits systems implementations, and acquisitions will be immediately applicable at Petauri. Most recently, Lauren oversaw human resources and operations as a member of the senior leadership team at SmartLink, a telecommunication services company. Lauren prioritizes ongoing learning to maintain relevancy and competency in the ever-evolving HR field and proudly holds her SHRM-SCP.
Nicole Kline
Vice President, General Counsel
Nicole comes to Petauri with robust legal and strategic expertise that will guide the company’s ongoing business and acquisition activity. She brings a client focus and attention to her practice, with an emphasis on building client relationships and future business through returning clients and referral sources.
Nicole’s prior mergers and acquisition (M&A) experience at Benesch Law and McDonald Hopkins comprised negotiating, drafting, revising and coordinating purchase agreements, disclosure schedules and ancillary transaction documents, and drafting and acquiring various consents, lien releases, assignment and assumption agreements, and other requisite closing deliverables for buy and sell side equity and asset transactions within the health care industry, private equity, and middle market. Nicole also brings expertise in organizing, managing, and participating in due diligence efforts through direct interaction with clients and industry specialists, with particular attention to the review, analysis, and communication of contractual obligations and any associated risk profiles.
Nicole began her legal practice at Brennan Manna Diamond as a healthcare regulatory and general corporate services and business counseling attorney. She attended the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she was the President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Association.
Jeff Petet, CHCIO
SVP Information Technology
Jeff is an accomplished technology executive with over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles, most recently, as Vice President of Information Technology for Upstream Rehabilitation, the largest dedicated outpatient physical therapy provider in the nation with over 1200 facilities. A proven leader, he has successfully built an IT organization from the ground up, led a global software development team for a Fortune 250 company, and transformed IT into a trusted pillar at the firms for whom he has worked. Jeff has a strong technical background in application development with broad experience in all aspects of technology strategy and operations. He is a lifelong learner and explores the most innovative trends in technology.
Katie Sapia

Katie comes to Petauri Health with over 15 years’ experience in life sciences consulting, most recently serving in a chief-of-staff capacity in Clarivate’s Life Sciences and Healthcare Consulting division, where she aligned core business objectives with people-centered strategies. Previously, Katie was a principal in the Commercial Strategy Consulting group at Clarivate, where she supported leading biopharma and medical device companies on issues related to product and portfolio development and commercialization strategy. Katie is focused on the design and implementation of thoughtfully constructed systems and processes that drive the Petauri platform, enabling teams to do their best work.
Alex Szigety, CPA

Alex comes to Petauri with over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, working with a range of emerging and mature companies in the pharmaceutical and life sciences verticals. His experience is predominantly focused on biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Alex’s foundation of knowledge in this industry enables him to deliver value to companies which operate in dynamic competitive and regulatory landscapes in the US and abroad. Alex's experience includes optimizing the close process, system implementation, tax compliance, revenue recognition, business combinations, intangible asset valuation, accounting for complex collaboration and copromotion arrangements, accounting for stock-based compensation, and Sarbanes Oxley 404 internal controls attestation.
Hunter Clark
Vice President, Business Development
Hunter is a seasoned business development professional who joins Petauri with a robust background leading growth activity within healthcare services companies. He brings over 10 years of experience ranging from domestic rural health system performance-improvement consulting to, most recently, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market access, and real-world evidence (RWE) research consulting services.
In his role, Hunter focuses on integrating business development activity across Petauri’s business units in keeping with platform’s goal of seamless integration of its offerings, while collaborating with the Petauri's growing team of commercialization experts to identify and secure new client partnerships within biopharma.
Hunter began working in life sciences with Precision Value & Health, leading new business development efforts in the HEOR division for several key accounts. From there, Hunter was hired by OPEN Health to grow the business development function in the U.S. and eventually became the global team lead serving as Head of Business Development, HEOR & Market Access.
Hunter holds a BA in Economics from Bowdoin College.

As the leader of Oak Hill Capital’s healthcare team, Micah Meisel brings broad-based healthcare experience to the Petauri Health Board of Directors. As Partner at Oak Hill Capital, he is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing investments in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining Oak Hill, Micah was a Managing Director at InTandem Capital Partners and a Managing Director at J.H. Whitney & Co. Prior to that he was a Senior Associate at Oliver Wyman and an Associate in the leveraged finance group at J.P. Morgan. Micah earned a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar.

William Fleming

With a nearly 30-year track record at Humana, Dr Fleming is passionate about simplifying healthcare, providing value to consumers, and fostering high-performing teams. Currently the company’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, William develops and strengthens relationships with government partners to impact public health policy. He also oversees the company’s Humana Military members, along with Humana’s Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs). During his tenure at Humana, William has led various divisions, focusing on clinical integration and improving health outcomes. As a member of Humana’s Management Team, he reports to the President and CEO, contributing to Humana's mission of enhancing healthcare and clinical quality.
William received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, where he went on to receive his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). He also holds a BA in General Studies from Transylvania University, with an emphasis in biology and economics. William has held numerous prior board/trustee appointments with various pharmacy and charity organizations. Recognizing his commitment to further developing the industry, William was named a Fellow in the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (FAMCP).
Jim Robinson

As CEO and member of the Board of Directors at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc., Jim brings more than 30 years of operational experience leading biotech organizations, from clinical to commercial stages. He brings a relentless drive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families suffering from some of the most devastating medical conditions, including cancer and urological disease.
The 2023 recipient of PM360 Trailblazer Award for CEO of the Year (Life Sciences Manufacturer category) Jim serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Eledon Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and UroGen Pharma Ltd. Prior to taking the helm at A2 Bio, Jim previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the former Urovant Sciences (now Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc.) from March 2020 to July 2023, guiding the company through its first product launch and subsequent acquisition by Sumitovant Biopharma in March 2021. Previously, he served as President and COO of Paragon Biosciences. Prior to Paragon, Jim was the President and COO of Alkermes plc. He spent over 12 years at Astellas Pharma, one of the leaders in the fields of urology, oncology and solid organ transplant, where he served as President of the Americas, and was responsible for approximately $4 billion in revenue generation. Jim started his career at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals.
