Senior Vice President
Chris is the Senior Vice President of Client Relations. He joined Artia, powered by Petauri, in 2021 with more than 17 years of experience in Medicaid administration.
Previously, Chris served state Medicaid pharmacy programs for 17 years in the Magellan Medicaid Administration (MMA) preferred drug list (PDL) program. In 2004, he began as a Clinical Account Manager, with responsibilities including the implementation and daily operation of supplemental rebate and PDL programs for multiple states. This position served as the foundation for his pharmacoeconomic analysis skills that would propel his career with MMA. Chris explained clinical and financial analysis in Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee meetings for over 200 PDL classes on an annual basis and would go on to lead P&T meetings for 17 states. He also contributed to MMA’s library of Therapeutic Class Reviews as a writer and editor.
In 2011, Chris was promoted to Director of Clinical Services for PDL programs at MMA. In this role, he added leadership for the PDL Clinical Account Manager team and responsibility for 15 state customer contracts for PDL services. As Director, Chris developed a number of regular reports that provided market context for both the rebate negotiation team, as well as state customers, that supported PDL recommendations. He took an active role with manufacturers to shape supplemental rebate strategy through clinical analysis and net pricing trends. This work extended into co-author status for the industry’s first trend report from the Medicaid fee-for-service net spend standpoint, the Magellan Rx Management Medicaid Pharmacy Trend Report, from the first edition in 2016 through 2020.
Chris was named Vice President, Account Management in 2017 for MMA’s PDL business line. Under his leadership, MMA’s Medicaid footprint grew to 26 state PDL programs and over 33 million Medicaid recipients. Chris’ Medicaid expertise has been noted in interactions with the Senate Finance Committee, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the Congressional Budget Office.
Senior Vice President
Chad is the Senior Vice President of Drug Launch Services and Clinical Operations. He joined Artia, powered by Petauri, in 2019 with more than 14 years of Medicaid pharmacy benefits service administration experience.
Previously, Chad was the Regional Pharmacy Director at Change Healthcare Medicaid Pharmacy Services Division located in Augusta, Maine. He oversaw eight state accounts that generated more than $15 million in annual revenue. He also worked with the business development team as a subject matter expert developing clinical solutions and cost proposals.
Chad began his career as a community pharmacist, and later held positions such as PA Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacy Manager, DUR Director, and Regional Pharmacy Manager at Change Healthcare (formerly Goold Health Systems).
Vice President, Policy & Strategy
Michael is the Vice President of Policy & Strategy. He has worked as an advocate and analyst on health, environmental, and educational policy issues for both the private and public sectors since 1992.
Previously, Michael was the CEO of The Garner Group. Before starting The Garner Group, Michael retired as the Senior Director of Government Relations for Anthem Inc. and its affiliates in Florida. In this role, he was the lead lobbyist responsible for advocating legislative and regulatory policies on a wide range of issues affecting health care coverage, professional and facility regulation, prescription drug pricing and distribution, and health information collection and access for consumers. Michael was also heavily involved in health plan operations, mergers and acquisitions, and participated in developing successful responses to multi-billion-dollar invitations to negotiate/requests for proposals to provide health coverage in Medicaid, Medicare, and Children Health Insurance Programs.
Prior to Anthem, Michael served for many years as the President and CEO of the Florida Association of Health Plans (FAHP), the state trade association for health plans in Florida. He was the industry’s primary advocate, lobbyist, and spokesperson, representing almost 20 health plans serving every health care market in the state, including Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare, Children’s Health Insurance, and the Federal Employee Health Plan.
Michael has worked for the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville establishing a Medicare outpatient reimbursement system; Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSFL) as a Senior Policy Analyst and advocate focusing on state and federal health policies including health coverage mandates, mental health parity, civil remedy for HMO liability, and the implementation of the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996; and started his career in a nonprofit health planning council conducting community healthcare needs assessments and implementing community programs providing prenatal screening and perinatal services for pregnant women and infants.
VP, Value & Access
Chris Stewart brings more than 25 years of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry experience to Petauri. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Manufacturer Trade Relations and Operations at Humana, where he was responsible for Medicare, Commercial, Medicaid, and value-based contracting strategies for Humana Pharmacy Solutions.
Leveraging deep expertise in healthcare policy, regulatory affairs, and market access, Chris advanced rebate and contracting strategies across multiple lines of business while driving collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to this role, Chris served as Associate Vice President of Public Policy at Humana, where he led efforts to influence federal and state drug and pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) policy, managed regulatory risk, conducted public policy analysis, and represented the organization through professional and trade association leadership.
Before joining Humana, Chris served in Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department for Medicaid, as Pharmacy Director. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of commercial and market access roles at pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Senior Director, Value & Access
Vibha Goel brings more than a decade of pharmacy, payer, and pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience to Petauri. Most recently, she served in senior clinical account executive roles at Evernorth/Express Scripts, supporting wholesale, commercial, health plans and labor clients on formulary strategy, drug access, reimbursement, and clinical program optimization.
Leveraging deep expertise in managed care, formulary management, and market access strategy, Vibha partnered closely with cross-functional teams across sales, finance, underwriting, pricing, and business development to inform formulary decisions, support new product launches, optimize rebate strategies, and evaluate emerging pipeline opportunities. She also provided strategic guidance to ensure alignment with FDA and managed care regulations while balancing clinical, financial, and access objectives.
Prior to her client-facing leadership roles, Vibha held a series of clinical and operational positions within Evernorth/Express Scripts, where she guided enterprise product implementations, supported formulary and benefit design initiatives, and served as a key liaison between clinical, operational, and account management teams. In these roles, she helped drive complex product enhancements, operational efficiencies, and client-specific solutions across the PBM landscape.
Before transitioning into managed care, Vibha practiced as a Pediatric Staff Pharmacist and Pediatric Oncology Specialty Pharmacist at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Northwell Health. Her combination of frontline clinical care experience and enterprise-level payer and PBM expertise enables her to help organizations navigate complex market access, formulary, and reimbursement challenges while advancing patient access to innovative therapies.

Michelle Jacobson brings more than 25 years of market access experience to Petauri. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Trade Client Strategy at Prime Therapeutics, where she led payer engagement strategies for rare disease, metabolic, diabetes, HIV, and other high-cost specialty therapies. She partnered closely with cross-functional teams across commercial, government programs, market access, patient services, medical, and marketing functions to clarify clinical and contracting strategies, translate complex healthcare topics into actionable education, and support compliant execution across pharmacy and medical benefits.
Leveraging deep expertise in formulary management, utilization management, value-based contracting, and payer strategy, Michelle helped healthcare stakeholders navigate evolving market access challenges while advancing innovative approaches to improve patient access and deliver measurable value. As the product owner for value-based contracting initiatives at Prime Therapeutics, she developed strategies that balanced clinical, financial, and operational objectives across diverse payer environments.
Prior to her trade strategy leadership role, Michelle served as Clinical Program Director for Government Programs at Prime Therapeutics, where she was responsible for Medicare formulary design, utilization management strategies, and clinical programs aimed at improving outcomes while reducing the overall cost of care. In these roles, she helped shape pharmacy benefit strategies and policy implementation across government healthcare programs. During her tenure at Prime, she worked with all of Prime’s clients, full service and select service (rebate only).
Before joining Prime Therapeutics, Michelle served as Pharmacy Director at the University of Minnesota, where she led pharmacy operations and health plan management; student, graduate student and employee health plan. Earlier in her career, she held pharmacist and pharmacy management positions, providing a strong clinical foundation that continues to inform her strategic perspective on patient care, healthcare delivery, and access.

Dan Renick brings more than 30 years of healthcare knowledge and executive experience to his role as CEO of Petauri. Dan also serves as a member of the Petauri Board of Directors. A proven leader with extensive private equity experience, Dan provides visionary leadership to life sciences innovators with highly effective, strategic, and pragmatic solutions to commercialization challenges. Previously, Dan was a founding executive and President of Precision Value & Health, following their acquisition of Hobart Group Holdings, in 2013. Under Dan’s leadership, Precision Value & Health experienced outsized organic growth, completed numerous strategic acquisitions, and received multiple industry awards.
He is also cofounder of Quantuvis and a current member of its Board of Directors. Quantuvis is the market leader in comprehensive software solutions for life sciences companies and payers, partnering with them to create value and innovation while addressing affordability.

A highly regarded market access and pharmaceutical services leader, Dan has demonstrated an exceptional talent for identifying and addressing market access obstacles, crucial for ensuring optimal patient access to healthcare innovations and medical advances. With over 20 years of vast and diverse market access experience, Dan has honed his expertise through a variety of leadership roles at various payer and pharmaceutical services organizations.
At Humana, Dan served on the company’s Formulary Strategy Team and P&T Committee, with sole responsibility for negotiation, implementation, and management of all Medicare rebate agreements. Dan made the transition to pharmaceutical service providers at The Hobart Group, in 2012. Most recently, Dan served as SVP, Managing Director at Precision Value & Health, where he navigated the complexities of value and access, on behalf of hundreds of clients, contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.
Dan received his PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a postdoctoral residency in managed care pharmacy, a fellowship in pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research, and a graduate certificate in epidemiology from the University of Louisville School of Public Health & Information Sciences.

George founded Artia Solutions in 2005. For almost two decades, Artia has provided first-rate consultation services to pharmaceutical manufacturers operating within the Medicaid environment. George also founded Crossroads: An Artia Solutions Conference in 2017. Prior to Artia Solutions, George was the Vice President of Business Development for Provider Synergies, a company managing rebate programs for state Medicaid. One of his major accomplishments was the development of the multi-state pooling initiative known as TOP$.
Previously, George was the Pharmacy Services Bureau Chief at Florida Medicaid for three years. He implemented the first PDL in the country in 2001. His responsibilities included the planning, directing, organizing, and coordinating of policies and procedures related to the Medicaid prescribed drug program, research and analysis of proposed state and federal legislation, Medicaid prescribed drug budget, and cost containment initiatives. Additional responsibilities included coordinating pharmacy audits and supporting various committees such as P&T, DUR, and chief liaison with PBMs.
Before joining Florida Medicaid in 2001, George held numerous positions for the Eckerd Corporation. Most notably, he held the positions of Regional Pharmacy Operations Manager, Director of Brand Pharmaceutical Purchasing, Director of Managed Care Development, and Director of Clinical Services. His responsibilities included the pharmacy operations of 300 drug stores, purchasing and inventory of brand pharmaceuticals, negotiation of managed care contracts, and the creation of clinical programs.
He is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, Florida Pharmacy Association, and Rho Chi Honor Society. He previously served on the American Pharmacist Association Benchmarking Steering Committee, American Pharmacist Association STAT Committee, JAPHA Editorial Advisory Board, and the Florida Department of Health Drug Therapy Task Force. George graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from Samford University.

Matt joined Artia-Powered by Petauri in 2009, and he has over 25 years of Medicaid experience. He specializes in assisting clients with supplemental rebate negotiations and product positions, as well as Medicaid policy, fiscal, utilization, reimbursement, and program strategies. Prior to Artia Solutions, Matt served four years as a Senior Legislative Analyst for the Florida Senate, where he was responsible for developing the budget for the Florida Medicaid program and analyzing the fiscal impacts of policy proposals. In addition to his fiscal responsibilities, Matt served as a staff member of the Florida Senate Select Committee on Florida Medicaid Reform, where he was instrumental in the development of the legislation for Florida’s Medicaid Reform effort. Previously, Matt served in the Office of Policy and Budget under Florida Governor Jeb Bush, where he was responsible for the development of the governor’s proposed Medicaid budget.
Before joining the executive office of the governor, Matt held several positions in Florida’s Medicaid administrative agency, where he most notably was responsible for launching and administering the Silver Saver Prescription Drug Discount Program, Florida’s State Prescription Assistance Program (SPAP). During his tenure at the agency, he also specialized in developing reimbursement rates and providing fiscal impact analysis for prescribed drugs, hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other programs. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the College of Business at Florida State University.

Ashley holds over 15 years of experience in a variety of health care settings. Before joining Artia-Powered by Petauri, Ashley served as the Pharmacy Administrator for Florida Medicaid where she was responsible for administering the prescription drug benefit serving over 5.5 million lives with an annual reimbursement totaling over $3.5 billion. During her time at Florida Medicaid, Ashley was responsible for directing the state’s Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics Committee and providing oversight for the inclusion of drugs on the state’s single preferred drug list. Ashley successfully implemented strategies to reduce opioid prescribing and utilization as well as pioneering coverage of FDA approved prescription digital therapeutics for the treatment of substance use disorder.
Prior to Florida Medicaid, Ashley spent over 8 years with the Kentucky Hospital Association in multiple roles, most recently as Director of Strategy and Program Development. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ashley designed and implemented an innovative multimillion-dollar solution to provide hospitals with life saving medications without increased financial burden.
Ashley is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and has previously served as Treasurer for the Political Action Committee representing over 100 Kentucky hospitals. She also served as a Board Member for Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky advocating specifically for safe sleep practices and a reduction in pediatric abusive head trauma.
Senior Director of Market Access
John joined Artia Solutions-Powered by Petauri in 2021 with more than 10 years of experience in state Medicaid pharmacy administration and pharmacy benefit management. He is responsible for providing account management and operational support for new drug launches, assisting with nationwide and individual state strategy development, payer engagement and post-launch pull through.
John graduated with his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill and his professional career as a pharmacist includes more than 25 years of experience in management of hospital, long-term care and retail pharmacy practice settings. His professional career also includes 5 years of experience as an account manager for five State Medicaid programs with a national Pharmacy Benefit Manager and 5 years of experience as the Pharmacy Director for North Carolina Medicaid where he was responsible for the pharmacy benefit for more than 2 million beneficiaries and a budget of ~$2B.
While at NC Medicaid, John worked closely with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to implement innovative pharmacy reimbursement models which ensured appropriate reimbursement for pharmacy providers and policies which significantly reduced the over-utilization of opioids and increased access to drugs indicated for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) to address NC’s opioid crisis. John also significantly contributed to the design of the pharmacy benefit which was implemented by NC’s five MCO’s in July 2021. Additionally, John directed the management of the North Carolina Preferred Drug List and worked collaboratively with industry partners to ensure access for patients and providers while ensuring the best value for the State.
